Whats a good place to start at voltage wise, fsb, multiplier etc.
 
some of the best of them do 2.7 at 1.85 volts.

Mine did 2.6 at 1.8 volts. It could never hit 2.7 stable at any voltage I tried.

If your looking for max clock, Id probably jack the voltage right away to 1.8 and see how far your can take it.

You might want to use 200 fsb at first just to do quick testing that does not involve memory being a factor.
 
you know............or you could work your way up from stock settings.............the way that people who don't want to burn out hardware do it.

i usually keep my core clock at 2.0, while slowly decreasing my multi and upping my FSB until i get down to the multi that i plan on using, and then start upping the FSB to what my target clock is. always using the minimum voltages to get it stables.

then again, that involves a lot of time in memtest, and not a lot of time running 3dmark, so maybe i'm just totally off base, since a futuremark stable system is TOTALLY stable, and NO further stability testing is required. ;-)
 
Before my A64 rig, i ran a Abit An7 and a 2600+M. I was abel to post 3.0Ghz with 2.2v or so. And run 2.8Ghz stabel with 2.0v... This was on chilled water, cant remember the temps... like 25-35c core???

I think, i cant remember the exact numbers...

As long as you have H20 cooling or a good HS and fan, i would set it to 200Fsb x 11, with 1.7v and start form there. thats a 3200+ (with higher volts) It should do that no problem. Then start with the multiplyer upping..untill you find a nice high point.. (probely 2.5 with 1.7v) And depending on how you feel about volts and how good you cooling is, you can start tryign for higher Mhz with mroe volts..
