I have a 2500k on a P8P67 and I want to make sure it isn't operating outside normal numbers. I had a hard time OCing it to begin with, as I found the Asus BIOS to be slightly confusing (and I have an LE, so no direct CPU voltage control).

Idle temps are around 40c, with voltage showing ~1. Running P95, I'm showing voltage fluctuate from 1.2-1.38 and temps going from 55c to 70c. I'm using an Arctic Cooler Freezer 13, so I feel like these temps should be a lot lower. I'm also concerned about the voltage fluctuations, is there a way to keep it consistent?

Also is there any way to disable the CPU from idling at 1.6 Ghz and going all over the place? As I'm watching Core Temp, the CPU is bouncing from 3.3 Ghz, to 4.6 Ghz consistently.

When I installed everything I used AS5 and spread it with a thin card so it was mostly even over the CPU, but not thick. Is it possible something is seated wrong? Or are these temps OK?

those temps look right, and you still have 20C to play with before hitting the thermal limit..

turn off speedstep and all the power saving shit to keep it from going to to 1.6Ghz when idle. but honestly if its stable with the overclock and speedstep on, leave it on.

as far as the 3.3 to 4.6Ghz sounds like you only overclocked the turbo setting and not the actual processor. so every time it hits 4.6Ghz it triggers the 95w power limit in the bios and sets it back to 3.3Ghz. but some one that actually knows that setting better then me will probably correct me.
