2500+ Barton OC help

Ok i've had my 2500+ Barton for a while now and i've done 3200+ easy at 1.80V (which is 1.75V really).

Anyway my specs.

2500+ Barton
Aopen AK79D-400VN (Nforce 2 400 Ultra Chipset)
Corsair TwinX PC 3200 512mb[(2) 256] DDR 400 (currently at 2 - 3 - 3 - 11 )
PowerSupply is Allied 450Wat ( prob more like 400wat)
Vantec Aeroflow CPU Heatsink/Fan

Temps 41C Idle 52 Full Load (Give or take a few C for hot and cold days)

Best i can do is
202 x 11 = 2.23Ghz (might be 203)

Anyway I cant post past 204FSB (i can if i do 2 - 2 - 2 - 11 but it crash's fast ) Anything over 210 FSB system wont post / and or boot.

I've tried (whatever's = 205 x 11 = )

Right now i'm ordering Abit NF7-S Rev. 2 hoping i can get her farther.

Whats making me not be able to take her farther?
Mobo? Cpu? Ram?

yeh id also say relax memory timings, worth a shot, and most likely itll work

either that or bump up the voltage on the ram if you havent already done so.

2.7v should do it, if not then max it out at 2.8v.
 
Tried 2.5 (i'm currently Using 2.5) same deal. I havn't touch'd the Ram Voltage, I'll do that now.
 
Put it to 2.65V (max it will go)

I got

205 x 11 = 2250 (but in my system Properties its 2.27Ghz)

System will post, but when starts to load windows it just restarts. Another note is I did 2 - 3 - 3 - 11 to get it to post at 205 x 11 but when i did 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 11 it blue screened on me. I'm Sure i'm max'd by now unless you guys have something that will help.

Thursday Abit NF7-S Rev. 2 comes, so i'm hoping for the best ! :D If I get shity OC's with that board too i'm be a little ticked off :p

First find the max for the cpu then tighten down the ram.

When starting out I relax my ram ALL THE WAY. This ensures that the CPU is the component getting stressed.

Also, to isolate that it is in fact the ram, lower the cpu multi.

You are ordering another board to help you clock higher? A lot of the 2500s run out of steam about 2.2ghz, there is not a lot you can do about it. I have had a couple that went ~2.35ghz, more often they top out about 2.25ghz at 1.8v. Some get the luck of the draw, some don't.

Just saying if it were me, instead of buying another mobo now, save up for a few months and grab a new A64 or prescott with a later revision motherboard. Just seems like throwing away money now for another 100mhz that you will never notice is silly. Getting off the pulpit now. :)
 
You could get the DFI Infinity for ~$90.00, that has Vmem all the way up to 3.3v without any mods. Probably has higher Vcore too than the Aopen board. (up to 2.00v)

What should i put my ram time to so i can find the very max of the cpu.
 
Mine runs at 2.2ghz, 11x200. I had it at 2.3 for a while I think, but it needed 1.85v and wasn't 100% stable. I have a lot of difficultly going past 2.2, so I just stick there.
