2408WFP - Still Being Produced?

I hear a lot of good things about the 2408WFP and it seems you can still buy new ones from online retailers.

1) Why would a retailer still have these in stock? Have they been sitting around for the last year in a warehouse?

2) What would be a good price on this shipped?

3) I have been looking at the u2410, but if a good deal comes around for the 2408 should I take it instead (I am a casual gamer [more RPG/RTS and very little FPS]/productivity/movies guy)?

4) How would this work with Dell's three year warranty?

They have been discontinued and are no longer produced by Dell. I'm in the same boat looking for a 2nd 24". The cheapest I have found is around $440 and it is one of the cheapest PVA panels you can get. I believe it will still be under warranty even though Dell no longer procudes it.

Found mine for 350$, only a few months old. Unfortunately it appears to have originally been sent to Israel, so Im not sure how the warranty transfer is going to work...

You should be able to get them from the outlet for quite a while.. outlet.dell.com
