2008 Storage server WTF stupid Language Error

Trying to install 2008r2 storage server.

Was told you have to install 2008r2 standard, so i did that updated it etc etc, reboot go to install 2008r2 storage server and it keeps saying windows could not install the selected language.

I can't go any further ? WTF Do you really have to install 2008 standard THEN storage server to build a iscsi box ?
 
Does it get through copying files and then fail when it gets to expanding files? Is this from a disc you burned yourself or a pressed original from microsoft? If a burned copy, reburn it at 1x instead of 8-16x. If it still fails, it is a bad install image.

no, i just installed it to a driven then installed the iscsi iso 2008r2 storage server is now working. no need to install 2008r2 then 2008r2 storage..
