hmm.. to those who have the 2005fpw:
how do i make it so that if playing at a lower resolution, the monitor won't stretch the image, but instead place black bars where the resolution won't reach? i tried goin go image settings, and then changing scaling from fill to aspect, but it still won't work. hmm.
(i tested it out playing city of heroes at 1600x900.. which i didn't know was even a resolution.. but whatever..)

The only way to do that is to go to 1:1 (it's next to fill and aspect) this will play it at the proper resolution. HOWEVER there will be black bars on all four sides of the image instead of just 2 (if you go into a 4:3 ratio picture). The reason for this is because LCD monitors must scale the image to fill the screen which does that "stretching" that you are refering to.

Personally I would go for "aspect" which I think is your overall best choice for non-native resolutions so that you use the maximum amount of your screen, and deal with the degraded image.
