1. Will my wifes GeForce 7800GTX work with it? I'm guessing the 7800GTX is not a direct X 10 compliant card?

2. Is there anywhere online that contains an official list of supported devices for Windows Vista 64? I know about the auto advisor, but I have a new system with no OS ready for vista and I'm starting to get worried.

Thank you!

1. I have the same card and Yes it works (at least it did with the Beta). You don't need to have a Direct X 10 card its just you wont to advantage of the new features direct X 10 has. This isn't a big deal, I don't expect any Direct X games for at least 1-2 years, by which time you will have likely upgraded anyway.

2. Yes its called the Windows Hardware Compatibility List (WHCL). I have provided a link, but you must use IE6 or later to view it.

That card will work fine with Vista. You need a DX10 card to take full advantage of DX10 features that will be eventually showing up in games. You don't need a DX10 card to take full advantage of the OS.
