It might be a little less stable. The higher you run your voltage, the hotter the chip gets.

not too mention the higher the voltage (anything over 1.68ish) the chances of that chip taking a dump is greater.

but, like someone else said, if you dont mind running that kind of voltage then more power to ya. :)
