My mom is pretty impressed with my new VP171B and now she wants an LCD. She doesn't do any hardcore gaming, so responce time shouldn't be an issue.

She uses the computer for Word and e-mail. She wants to stay under $400 if possible.
 
Order from Dell when they offer discounts or you get your hand on a coupon. Which monitor, however, I'm not sure. It depends on the discount offer I suppose. The Dell 171FPb should be a good choice though.
