tell me what you all think

ive had some experience with the sflex fans and i would say they are a good buy. For me, i would go for the 1200rpm version though.

I haven't have any problems with my SilenX fans. I haven't compared ratings, but there's 2 versions.

11dBa - 40CFM
14dBa - 58CFM

aerocool makes quality products, i have an 80mm from them and it really blows but damn it's loud

I have 2 of each of the these fans and they are as advertised silent and strong...and stupidly/ridiculously/you'vegototbekiddingme expensive....but I'm very happy with them...

Yeah, don't get SilenX. They have a motor whir that's really annoying. I would say Nexus/Yate Loon for sure. Although, it depends on what you want to do with it. They have a solid area where you mount the screws, so you can't use a clip (like on a Thermalright heatsink) with them.

I should also mention, the Nexus/Yate Loon fans don't push much air at all, so keep that in mind.

Shoot! I forgot about the TT A2018 Smart Fans. Anyone have any experience/comments on these?

They're great, they move a lot of air. They are also noisy. The fan controller is a bitch to adjust precisely, but it works.

I've started using Tt Thunderblade 120's without any type of fan controller, they make a lot less noise and I really don't see much of a difference using them with ThermalRight SI-120's in my pc's.

I have a total of 4 SilenX fans in my case and not a single one makes any "whirring" noises...In fact the only noise that comes from my case is the only non-SilenX fan in the case...and even though I have it volted down to 5V its still louder than all my othe SilenX fans.... SilenX fans have performed magnificently for me..they are just too damned expensive....
