Hi, got a question here about my 120mm fan, brand is EVERCOOL AL12025

http://search.netscape.com/ns/boomf...cts/alfan.htm

can I connect this to my MOBO(CPU FAN CONNECTOR), it has a 3 pin connector, my MOBO is P4P800SE and the specs of the connector is:

supports cooling fans of 350mA-740mA (8.88W max.) or total of 1A-2.22A (26.64W max.) at +12V

does the fan say how many amps it uses? it should on the label. multiply that by 12 and you get your watts.

This is what I found, sorry about the link above

120mm Case Fan
Speed L M H
RPM 1800 2000 2200
Voltage 12 12 12
Current 0.25 0.28 0.33
Air Flow (CFM) 71.09 79.14 84.76
Noise (dBA) <34 <36 <39
P/N: FAN-AL12025

RPM 1800 2000 2200
Current 0.25 0.28 0.33

Your getting the 2000 rpm if I am correct, the 2200rpm one is 24V (your link is broken). It will only use 3.36 watts. 12 * 0.28 = 3.36.

It will run just fine :)
