OK, I have a viewsonic 23" 3D 120 hz LCD. If I run it at 59 or 60hz i get 1 normal sized screen. If i increase the hz to 120 or 100, i get 4 squares, and in each square is windows. So it repeats itself 4 times. I can see 4 mouse coursers etc.

anyone know what causes this? I installed the latest drivers on my 295 GTX, and downloaded the monitor driver itself, and its still present.

i dont think I had this issue on vista?

Just to make sure, are you using DVI?

And for my AW2310 I had to use the DVI cable that came with the monitor... I've tried 3 of my other dual link DVI cables and none of them give me good results. Only the shorter cable that came with my monitor lets me do 120hz.

yea, im thinking maybe it is the cable, maybe because it has to be dual link, and I think I may have just thrown a random DVI on there, Ill check that when I get home from work :)

has to be dual link cable. thats your problem. 23" viewsonic lcd ? whats the model number for it
