$100+ DP switch alternative?

[lessthanuthought]

I managed to snag a 27" Cinema Display for $250 yesterday. Awesome!! One problem, my wife likes it too much and wants to use it as well.
Is there any alternative to spending $100 or more on a switch to share a DP display between two computers?

I've used one of these:

Worked pretty well.

Yup, someone on anandtech suggested the same thing.

Thanks
