just installed them Win 7 64 bit Ultimate...Pinkish in color anyone else having this issue? 5870 card btw..
 
several got it on Guru3d. Go into your color settings and press default. Then it will fix itself (or tag EDID). :)
 
By "Default" drivers are set to "Default" if you dont have an answer which YOU DONT, DONT respond Tanks :D

I don't know if you are kidding or not, so I'll explain further:

The drivers has a bug that alters the color temperature to 6600K after install. When you press default in color settings, they revert back to 6500K, which is the standard. If you select use EDID, it will not use the CCC adjustments for color temperature and it will also be solved that way.
 
Damn why make a thread if your going to spit in the face of the people that help you. I run to help people in trouble as much as possible on these and other forums and had this happen a few times. It doesn't feel good. If this fixes your issue I believe an apology is in order and posted on the thread not via pm. You publicly took a shot at him he deserves no less.

Wait, did you try the use edid option. too. I know your saying default didn't work.

BTW This issue only seems to affect people who have their settings tweaked before the update. I guess a problem moving the custom settings to the new driver. Perhaps hitting default or use edid before the update may be a more solid fix, thus avoiding the problem in the first place.
 
its back to normal now, found an answer that worked on the ati forums.
graphics/colors/defaults did not work.

options/preferences/restore factory defaults did work.

im not sure what edid, i havnt heard of it before.

EDID extended display identification data. it's basically a table kind of like spd on a ram chip only it's in your monitor, kinda like a monitor bios. It will have the resolutions, color bit, and acceptable refresh rates in a table format that your gpu reads. The AMD/nvidia driver can either listen to that or over-ride that. Since I believe cat 10.8 it has been over-ridden with custom settings for what reason idk.

Basically there is an option in the driver which will tell the gpu to go back to following the edit as supposed to the built in driver over-rides.

It might just have been a misunderstanding from his side, thinking that I suggested he messed up the settings and should go back to default. I can relate to some crankyness also, now that I am myself in the middle of a stop smoking pill cure. :p

Anyhow, I found the pink issue thread on G3D with some more solutions (turn of DVI settings/alternate DVI mode and reduce DVI frequency settings under Attributes) if anyone still have them:

This just happened to me when I launched CCC for the first time after installing the 10.10's. The Factory Default restore fixed it asap.
