After installing 10.10 im incredibly unstable. Im wondering if anyone else has had this issue, or if there is a known fix. 10.5 was the last stable for me but I need the newer for CFX perfomance. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Basically after 10.10 I BSOD on boot a lot and its all error code 1033. I also hang and crash in games and sometimes just crash out of windows. Only thing I could find was enable apic 2.0, which didnt change much. gonna try the 10.10d hotfix. ati drivers suck ass, not one has worked for me since 10.5

win7 64 and 5870
 
Have you uninstalled and used something like driver sweeper to make sure you really have it all cleaned up? Sounds to me like your drivers didn't install right as 10.10, 10.10a and 10.10d have all worked fine for me, as well as 10.9, 10.8, 10.7, and 10.6. all in win 7 64. I was even running 5750 CFX up until I got my new 6850 and installed 10.10a and 10.10d. Don't think these are necessarily driver issues, but possible more issues with your setup and install of Win 7.
 
No i completely uninstall everything sweep in safemode with driver sweeper and then install. 10.10d worked fine on furmark for a few hours, but then again so have the rest of them
 
Is the crossfire setup recent? If it is, then maybe your PSU isn't powering it properly? It could be that you actually have something corrupt in your Win7 install. Doesn't seem like normal driver problems to me.
 
well every ati release since ive had my 5870s ran flawlessly until 10.6, and im using a corsair hx-750 with the 12v rail well within* specs
 
Interesting. I had a little trouble installing 10.6, but once I got it installed correctly, I didn't have any problems. may be some rogue corrupted file thats causing your problems. Have you tried the 10.10d hotfix yet?
