We have two computers in our house, but at 1am on the dot every day both CRT's start to shake unintill 6am on the dot, needless to say it gives me the shits.

Anyone have any advice?
 
Wow...that a strange one. Sounds like something is kicking in and disrupting your power for those 5 hours. Try a line load conditioner maybe.
 
I would venture to guess there is some sort of cable company that receives their broadcast packets at that time, and you are in there path.. I have a client who's wireless network goes offline like clockwork at 3:30pm for half an hour.

Culprit? The bank next to his office.
