1 core at 100% load...

Whats the best way to figure out whats causing this? I have an i5-750 stock speeds and stock cooler, mostly leave it on all the time and today I came home to 1 core running at 100% or 2-3 at 50% then back to the 1 at 100%.

I opened task manager and I show no programs runnning and don't see anything out of the ordinary in the list.

Any idea's how I can figure this out?

Go to "show processes from all users", in the processes tab in task manager. what process is using most of the CPU usage?
 
Didn't think of that, I've already restarted now and it is idling normally. I will do that next time it does it though.
