I am probably getting a http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=61818.

Now I don´t know if this matter but if I want to use HDMI connectoin instead of VGA (is there any benefit in doing this). It don´t supports 1:1??

What does this mean. If the games support 1366x768 or what the native resolution is then that doesn´t matter I guess? You still get the best possible image? Anything to worry about or just run VGA mode?

1:1 means that it doesn't scale the image to the size of the monitor, so lets say your xbox360 outputed 1280x720 and lets say your monitor/tv did 1920x1080 you would see 1280x720 pixels filled in the middle of the screen the rest of the pixels would remain black. So basicly there would be a large black border around the entire image.

HDMI vs VGA, HDMI is digital where VGA is analog. You could possibly get crisper images through digital and you could also possibly not notice much difference at all.

ok cool. On moms old LCD there is definiatly a difference.

And I will use HDMI then since I am on PC :). Is it the same interface as DVI or do I need to get a new cable... Maybe comes with the television. But then do you need a super expensive HDMI cable or is there little difference...

HDMI and DVI is pretty much the same thing except for that HDMI has traded DVI-A for sound.

You could just get a DVI->HDMI converter and use an existing DVI cable. Although you will have to have separate cables for audio.

Unless you are going to have a long cable you won't need a special cable.

Edit:
And unless your TV has over 1080p don't bother with dual-link cables.

nope 1080i max... And maybe not even true 1080i? 1333x768 or what it was...

But sound does it go via the video cable that was news... Thought it would be separate either via scart or somethingelse :). But since I am going to use it on PC I guess I don´t need it since I will probably rather use my X-Fi and headphones then the standard speakers. That or my HT setup of course :)
