Nobody knows for sure, don't ask.

Based on last night's comments in the developer chat, it won't be out until this weekend, probably not tonight now.

they are talking about it on ts2, 67.15.34.8:8888, rumor is 4 hours. but thats just speculation from the guy running the ts server. i think beta testers and ea guys pop in and out, so it gets interesting when they answer questions.

edit: in the ts2 server, they say that gamespot will have the link up within the hour after they receive the demo from EA, and it will not be keyed, so other sites will most likely mirror it.

edit2: a beta tester is answering questions right now, he says its possible to drift with the dune buggys... :D :D :D

Don't hold your breath, maybe :(

<[Admin]WolfBlade> and now the question that everyone has been wanting to know....
<[Admin]WolfBlade> *ByrdGang-gs* when is the demo coming out?
<ea-bsmith> hmmm
<ea-bsmith> ok, well, while we're not ready to commit to tomorrow night like has been reported in a bunch of places
<ea-bsmith> we're fairly confident we'll be out some time this weekend with the demo
<ea-bsmith> right now the demo is in our final approval process (called CQC internally)

What I want to know more then when it gets released is when the torrent goes live!!!

Sod direct d/l it will be soo slow and soo much waiting time!! TORRENT for this deffo

Played it online for about an hour, very impressive and very fun I will say... even on *gasp* 800x600 on my 2005FPW. Doesn't seem to support widescreen res, atleast without hacks
