Courts Rule YouTube Is Not Liable for Pirating Users

I don't know why people keep filing lawsuits like this against Google. The courts have ruled in Google's favor every single time a lawsuit like this has been filed.

YouTube has won its most recent legal battle against German music rights group GEMA. The Higher Regional Court of Munich ruled that YouTube is not liable for content uploaded by its users, even when it profits from videos that are clearly copyright infringing.

Guess they figure if they can beat a torrent site (or even a site with links to torrents on another site), then why not YouTube, which is hosting the material? Note i don't think either should be liable, though I'm more sympathetic if it's an actual torrent provider, since most of them host pirated material, and almost nothing else.
