ASUS Making Its Own HoloLens Glasses?

According to this story, ASUS is in talks with Microsoft to make a holographic augmented reality headset.

ASUS has revealed to CNET that it's talking to Microsoft about making a version of HoloLens. The firm is "still evaluating" what these glasses would look like, so you shouldn't expect to wear Republic of Gamers-branded eyewear any time soon.

Thumbs up here! The stuff that MS has demoed for Augmented reality is phenomenal. It would be great to see an ecosystem develop with multiple hardware developers.

Hopefully more OEMs will jump in. I'd love to get some of these, but the initial 1st party prices are a bit high (at least from the bits I've read). Granted, I haven't read an expected retail price. Just basing a guess on dev kits pricing compared to other somewhat similar types of devices.
