Are these smart appliances cool or excessive? I guess it’s kind of cool to see what’s in your fridge in real-time at the supermarket, but I think I'll stick with the ol' shopping list.

The only smart thing they need on an oven (and/or washer & dryer) is the timer function allowing an app/sms to alert you. My LG stove alarm is a melody and very quiet, I can hardly hear it in the next room.
