Microsoft's HoloLens is on its way to the International Space Station. While most of us would be content just staring out a window on the ISS, apparently astronauts do work and stuff up there that could benefit from using the HoloLens.

Sidekick's "Procedure Mode" illustrates actions and instructions over the objects an astronaut is looking at — pointing out switches and dials, perhaps, or reminding them of a missed step in a process. "Remote Expert Mode" connects via Skype to an Earth-bound counterpart who can annotate the user's visual field, helping them identify or fix items that they may not be familiar with, like custom modules or instructions in another language.

Wow, if a VR headset doesn't make you nauseous anyway, let's up the ante by doing it in zero-G. Astro-barf-bag standing by, sir!

So hololens works upside down? so virtual objects will appear upside down as well?
