Google Lets You Download Your Search History

Google has added a new feature to Google accounts that allows you to download a copy of your past searches. The process didn't work for me but your mileage may vary.

When you download your past searches, a copy of your history will be saved securely to the Takeout folder in Google Drive. You can download the files to your computer if you want a copy on your computer. Depending on the amount of data you’re downloading, you may be have more than one file in your Takeout folder with your history in it.

Coming soon...employers/someone tries to require employee to provide this data dump prior to employment. Probably SOP for political operatives.
 
If you have an android phone you can see everywhere it (you) has been since you got it.
 
No data found for me. Safe to assume it would have been 99% porn anyways.
 
Someone tell me why anyone would want to download their own search history.
 
It might not be their own. Some times others sue their computers.

Also, maybe they found somethign through search a while back and forgot what it was and want it.

Mine is blank though, I turned it off as soon as it was announced, it seems. I sort of vaguely remember doing that, but without mention I'd have forgot that I did.

Darn. I can't show everyone I haven't left the basement in over 30 days.
 
So I can do a search of my other searches? Wow....how productive of me......let me see what I already tried to find out, and look at it again....

And does it log that I downloaded the search history.....so you know.....I can show that I already searched for what I previously searched for.....so I don't have to do it again?

I feel an infinite loop coming....and we will have a moment where parallel universes collide, and POOF - we have a paradox!! lol
