I spotted this at my local IT shop...

My old workmates showed me a new treat... They wouldn't let me unbox it...

that and my ex-boss is a bit of a prick who price gouges like crazy.

Wtf is a Galax?

and

Wtf is a KFA?

Yes us Australian's get hit hard with the costs of PC hardware (well just about everything in general).

Well Galax is a plant ~ ok.

Interesting about KFA2, did not know such a subsidiary manufacturer existed.

Plait is a decent brand. What I'm interested in is the fact that the ref. 980 is a 6+6 pin PCI-E power. Maybe it is true that it won't be that power hungry...

Overclocked versions from Gigabyte (with the tri fan cooler) and the Direct CU versions from Asus will be 6+8 pin or dual 8pin for PCI-E power. Only time will tell when [H] get's one for review's.

That's what I figured. I wish my old work-mates let me take it out and bench it, but I can understand why they didn't.

Galax reminds me of the sound my dog makes when he barfs up a wad of fresh grass he just ate.:eek::eek:

Hahaha! Cannot unhear....

I could just imagine all of the suits in the board meeting at Palit

"If we drop-a da 'Y', it makes-a it so much-a cooler sounding!"
