Escape Dead Island Unraveled Trailer

Crappy graphics. Boring storyline. Zombies, again. When will they start making interesting games, again? Will it take a whole new medium (Oculus, for example) to see original game design?
 
Its like Borderlands or Jest Set Radio graphics...
Damn, this should have been released 10 years ago....
 
Its a last-gen release, not even the flagship sequel coming out soon. Kinda like those simplified Wii versions of the blockbuster title.
 
Kind of surprised they wasted this much effort on something like this. If this is to be the same island from the first game, why not just take the first game change out the character. make some changes to the models and release the game that way. Since they are working on Dead Island 2, seems to me that putting more effort into that and less on a side store this close to release of a sequel would have made more sense.
