Damn, what's going on over at Yahoo? :eek:

Maria Zhang, a senior director of engineering, was accused by her subordinate, a principal software engineer named Nan Shi, of forcing Shi to have sex with her. When Shi resisted her advances, Zhang gave her a negative performance review, and Shi was eventually terminated, according to Shi's original suit.
 
It's like they've got a bunch of yahoos working over there or something. Sexual harassment lawsuits suck (no pun intended). Can be so hard (again, no pun!) to prove/easy to fabricate, with all the alleged activity happening in private, but is very serious/emotionally damaging if true.
 
Hmmm, could it be that BOTH are lying? There's three sides to every story. This one, that one and the one that is actually true.

Who is telling the truth now that there are two women involved? Normally the guy always gets blamed, but with two women... this opens a whole new can of worms.

Looks like a lesbian to me. Of course I claim that any woman I can't have is a lesbian. It helps me sleep at night.

Just like with any male vs female type of case, in a case like this there isn't going to be any proof anything happen so you have to go based on the words of two different people.

Not if it's handled properly. Unfortunately most companies do little if anything about sexual harassment claims and the victim, whichever party it may be, is left to deal with the aftermath.

I actually brought that up over in the Tesla lemon law thread. There are things like that where even if you win that there is still that damage just for it having happen. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens here also in this case.

The conflict, for anything relevant to the lawsuit, is whether the subordinate was fired for rejecting the superior's advances. One says that's true, the other says it's not. The rest is just drama and won't be decided by the case.
 
This may be a simple case of unrequited love, and both sexes are susceptible to crazy delusions due to any fall-out.

That redhead is pretty good, though fake boos is a major turn off.
