It was learned this week that Apple has purchased the personal assistant app, Cue, for an estimated price of over $35 million. The acquisition of Que will possibly be used as an enhancement for Apple’s entry into the Personal Assistant App market.

Cue was born as Greplin, a social search startup. The company will not be shut down post-acquisition, though it did recently shut down its app.

so much for Siri being revolutionary.

The iPhone will not only direct you onto the airport's runway; it will now send you to the wrong airport on the wrong date.

Pretty sure this come out much like imaps did, a disaster. Later on I'm sure it will be better, and wasn't this supposed to be the point of Siri?

Apple turns right into MS lol, makes a product, then buys several companies that have products that do the same thing just a little different. Spends years integrating them and pisses everyone off in the process. Hello mesh / skydrive, link / Skype

well since u brought up microsoft, they've seriously fked up skype in past year.

as far as apple goes, they are putting faster chips in their systems but their iOS is also getting blotted with stuff ppl don't need or use.
