The US Navy has finally gotten the message from the Internet as far as protocol is concerned. ALL CAPS is considered downright rude and unnecessary behavior in most civilized circles for sending messages and the Navy is finally catching on and making the change. Welcome to the 21st Century, Capt’n. :D

"You have a lot of folks that have been around for a long time and are used to uppercase and they just prefer that it stay there because of the standardized look of it. But the truth of it is, as we move forward, it's imminent," said James McCarty, naval messaging program manager at Fleet Cyber Command.
