Somebody over at Amazon must be nostalgic about the meager beginnings of the company when it didn't have two books to rub together. Amazon has opened a dedicated storefront for the Indie Games to promote independent game developer’s wares that otherwise might go unnoticed.

The Indie Games Store is a dedicated storefront designed to specifically help indie game developers with promoting their PC, Mac, and browser-based games while helping gamers discover a large and growing selection of innovative indie games.

Interesting stuff! We might see a wider variety of games than the usual ho-hum FPS thing thanks to stuff like this. I mean really, they're doing that Wolfenstien thing again...the industry needs some help from new people pretty bad.
