I'm not even high and I'm like WOAH!!! and then I'm like WOAH!!!
 
At first I thought it was a the side shot of a layer of water... then perhaps a string that's flicking a wave though it... then I find out it's all CG? BAH!
 
I'd pay for a Blu Ray quality copy of that. Better yet, I'd pay good money for a 2560x1600 copy of that. Coolest video wallpaper ever.

That's because it was the final thesis to that person's project, it was supposed to be long. A jury defines their judgement and grades based numerous criteria, but these are the most important and difficult to capture:

Visual Design
Emotional Experience (that's the hard one to master)
Functionality

Not to mention you have to have a deep understanding of the relationship artistic expression and technical mastery of 3d modelling. Left brain and right brain working in synchronicity, like a true architect
 
There's some deep FFT shit going on there I think, which means whoever wrote this is one very smart person.
