Google's Privacy Director Is Stepping Down

If this lady's job was to make sure Google didn't invade your privacy...ummm, it's probably a good idea she is stepping down. Think about it, Google knows more about you than most of your family members. :eek:

When Alma Whitten was tapped to be Google‘s first director of privacy in 2010, CNet declared hers the “hardest job at Google.” A long time engineer at the company with expertise in computer security, she was put in charge of a program overseeing products in development at Google to try to prevent the release of those that got privacy wrong.
 
I'm surprised that position exists. It would be like PETA having a meat packing department.
 
I approve if this person's departure from the company and the appointment of an obviously made up person, Lawrence You, to replace her. *hefts a pickaxe* Now put on your Google Glass everyone, I've got some lost time to make up for. :D
