Last year when the proposed CISPA bill was introduced, both Microsoft and Facebook were very squarely in the pro corner in support of the bill. Fast forward to 2013 and the support for the new bill is waning, including much needed support from industry heavyweights like Microsoft and Facebook.

In fact, industry support for this year's bill appears to be weaker than last year, with fewer letters of support from some of the usual suspects.

They are both in more precarious positions with users. Not sure they're up to sticking their heads out right now.
