Steam 2012 Thanksgiving sale is here! runs from November 21-27 :D

It's on sale for 14.99 right now. I bought it at release, don't regret it one bit. I have a feeling it might drop to 9.99 during the sale though.

Xcom didn't go as low as I was hoping, but this is about as low as I've seen it anywhere else.

My wife wants Ticket to Ride Switzerland, so I searched on it, went into its page and now all of my steam pages seem to be in Swiss...ugh. Does anybody know how to get the Steam website to change languages?

The drop-down at the top-right, or add '?l=english' at the end of a Steam URL.

picked up Kotor 2

No issues paying $2.50 to buy it again to not have to deal with multiple disk installs.

I highly recommend it!

I'm on the fence regarding the Witcher 2...

I'll also keep my eye peeled on some other titles such as Rayman Origins and Torchlight 2 as daily deals.

So.. is $40 for Skyrim a decent enough deal? I think Steam had it for $35 before? Tempted to bite on this so I can play during Thanksgiving break, but don't know. It doesn't seem to go on sale too often.

You should be aware though the generic discounts are usually not very good.

Batman:AC, Dead Island, Bioshock 2, both STALKERs for example at this point are really <$5 on sale games at this point as an example.

Out of all those listed for instance I can only really say The Witcher 2 I'd consider an actual sale price (not sure for every game though, don't follow them all).

Yeah, my threshold is usually 75% off or sub $10. Unless I really want the game.

Huh, never knew Castle Crashers was available on Steam. Would have skipped the 360 version instead.

Picking up KOTOR2, though I'll probably never get around to playing it.

Yes. I spent like 40 to 50 hours on it for one play through. And it has a ng+ which is worth going through, or so it seems.
Really debating if I should get Witcher 2 or not. I liked the first one.. but the gameplay is kind of meh to me. Haven't beaten the first either, enemies seem so op in the swamp area that I just gave up on it.

Unless you absolutely MUST play the game, I wouldn't install/download it while a sale is on they do get their servers hammered pretty severely.

TotalBiscuit's look at it was hilarious. The physics seemed really janky but fun. I'll probably wait until X-mas, but I'm definitely gonna pick that up.

I know there are mixed opinions about that (never played Monkey Island) but Installed the demo and it got me off-guard with some good laughs.

Now at 10 bucks, it deserves my time.
