Mystery Virus Attack Forces Qatari Gas Offline

An attack similar to the one on Saudi Aramco several weeks prompted RasGas to wisely pull the company offline to insure no further infection like the one that took Aramco’s 30k workstations down. The identity of the type of virus or the group responsible has not been determined.

In a fax to suppliers, the company reportedly said: "RasGas is presently experiencing technical issues with its office computer systems. We will inform you when our system is back up and running."
