DVI to HDMI adapter... loss in quality?

I'm looking to get the Dell U2412M monitor, which doesn't have HDMI. But I just realized my laptop doesn't have a DVI port, only HDMI.

I'm wondering if anyone here uses an adapter to connect DVI to HDMI, and if there's any loss in quality.

Thanks all; although it seems a pain to have to buy another adapter... does anyone else here have to use an adapter to convert DVI to HDMI? Just wondering.

Just use a straight hdmi to dvi cable. $3 or so from mono price,

Same signal, different cable. Absolutely NO loss of quality.
