Microsoft Corp. announced 11 new Microsoft Dynamics customers from across the government, education and healthcare markets. These customers, including the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Louisiana State University (LSU) AgCenter, and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, join more than 1,000 public-sector organizations across every state in the U.S. that have adopted Microsoft Dynamics ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM to drive transformative cost savings and efficiencies.
 
I'm not familiar with this. Is this a "Cloud" thing?

It'll be cool until the thunderstorm hits.
 
Dynamics isn't necessarily a 'cloud' thing, as you can run it locally as client/server or have it hosted. It's been around for a long time and has a lot of different modules that do different things (accounting, customer relations, resource planning, etc.) Basically, it's just really powerful business management software meant for bigger businesses.
