Some pics of the latest 4p build. the board fits in nicely in the 932 but i had to take out the top fan which could have fit if i look the last ram chip. there was no holes for the top section f the board so used ziptie's to tie them to the backplate. the side panel with the fan also fits perfectly without any obstruction.

Does that much memory actually help w/folding?

He actually has 16 x 1GB chips. You need 4 chips per cpu to take advantage of the quad channel, so he actually has about the least amount possible for a 4p G34.

That is a slick job of getting that board in there. Can I ask why you decided to go the full case route vs doing another naked frame?

One of the most beautifully done builds I've seen in awhile!! Very cleanly done on the HAF case and the Server rack too. That is a tribute to geek-dom everywhere.

couldn't you run some slim 120's or 140's up there?

I'm liking the looks of the Tyan in the HAF more than I am of the plywood I'm currently using...

Be [H] and take out your dremel and mount the fans on the outside and run the power cables through a small cut in the top/side of the case. I'm sure you could make it look nice still. Maybe put the cuts under the frames of the fans so they are hidden when the fans are on the case?

Are those noctua nf-p12 fans on the 212+ sinks? That's what I'm using (for my one 212). I guess with 16 of them you'd have to use quiet fans or go insane.

Oh, nevermind, I noticed the rack isn't even using 212+ sinks.. but still

Someone needs to send this to Steve for front fage loven!

You make a HAF 932 look good. That's saying a lot!

very nice, clean build

thanks guys.

i think i will just follow ChelseaOilman's method of fitttng the fan on the top of the case.
