First Android store, Androidland, opens in Australia

Google has joined the ranks of Apple, Microsoft, Sony and several other large companies having a brick and mortar store to showcase their products. Google chose Melbourne, Australia for their flagship store. Being the store is down under, if it goes belly-up it will still land on its feet as far as Google headquarters is concerned.

There's no word if Google plans to expand Androidland into other locations. Earlier this year Google launched a "store within a store" in a few UK retail locations to help sell its Chromebook devices.
