Kingston Technology, the independent world leader in memory products, today announced it will exhibit as well as present a session (VSP2247) at VMworld 2011 on Understanding Virtualized Memory Performance Management. Kit Colbert, Principal Engineer in the Management Business Unit of VMware, and Dr. YP Chien, Information Intelligence Officer, Kingston® will co-present the session. The session focuses on virtualized memory performance management and how VMware ESX® manages memory reclamation, as well as best practices for monitoring and sizing memory. The critical role that memory plays in a virtualized infrastructure will be discussed in order to keep data centers running smoothly and efficiently.

“We are proud to be selected as one of the few VMware partners to participate in the vSphere® 5.0 Activate Program with VMware,” said Chien. “This ‘high touch’ engagement with VMware helps reduce the learning curves of migration to vSphere 5. We are excited with the new and enhanced capabilities of vSphere 5 as it facilitates the virtualization of Kingston’s business critical applications and accelerates our company’s journey into cloud computing to achieve higher operational performance and business agility.” Kingston will exhibit in Booth 640 at the Sands Hall B & C Solutions Exchange Level 2. Top Guitar Hero® champion Annie “Ecstasy” Leung will be at the Kingston booth to challenge all comers to beat her. Leung is one of the game’s top players in North America.
