I've used it and it works great. Plays a lot smoother

Version 3 Fixes:

Layout:
-Tabbing added
-Simpler instructions added
-Logo added
-Separated buttons out – first find the Crysis2Demo.exe and then write the config

Controls:
-Mouse Sensitivity can be enabled or disabled. Un checking the box means that the previous/ ingame value will be used.

Graphics:
-Bloom/HDR option added – multiple variables set that makes the game less shiny
-Motion Blur – now seems to disable
-Multi GPU option added – if you have more than 1 GPU set to 1
-Multi Core CPU option added – if you have a multi core processor set to 1
-FSAA - Full Screen Anti-Aliasing option added
-UseEdgeAA - controls the level of edge blurring set to 0 for least
-Anisotropy Filtering option added
-TextureFilter option added – set to bilinear for least
-Shadows option added – 0 turns them off

Sound:
-Enemy Player Hit Feedback option added – should makes a thud noise when you hit a player with bullets.

- Game can now be launched from the program, once settings have been chosen and saved you can click Launch Game and the game will load - .bat script no longer used - this will fix peoples issues :)
-When you click Save Config your config will be saved and when you re load the program to launch the game again it will automatically load back in - this allows you to quickly tweak settings. Make sure that when you change settings you click Save before launch game, or the settings will not be applied
-Full screen/window mode added to misc set Full Screen to 0 for window mode

Nice!

Saw this in the Steam forums I believe a few days a ago.
Good that he's updated it.

Think I'll try this game again.

Thanks for the linkage. It makes the demo a little better but I can't see myself getting this game until it's in the bargain bin. I'm just not into the whole super-soldier future thing and I feel like I'm skating or floating everywhere...

I just tried it with the 1.2 patch and I couldn't logon to my profile the first time.
I tried the original patched exe file and it was fine.
I tried it again and it was fine.

Skip intro is working again.

Some of the graphics settings work and others don't.
It's hard to tell which ones, since you can't load a map without playing the game.

You can check the steam forum thread in the first post for some details.

Thanks for the link for that Version 4 of the config, but it's a little disappointing that nothing new has been added or made to work. The settings save correctly so you don't have to keep searching for the Crysis2Demo.exe every time. Also the debug mode is quiet useful if somebody finds new commands to enter to make the game even better. Unfortunately "Shadows" and "Enemy Player Hit Feedback" still don't work. I remember the 2nd option from original Crysis and even then it was never made to work. I wonder why Crytek keep including it in their engine, maybe just to make us more angry?!

First of all I don't know if its worth doing more work, since I have no idea if the Demo will remain active after release date or taken down. I hope they don't do that as I love to load it up and have a quick blast when I'm not busy. But I definitely want more things added in the config such as simple tiny crosshair for all weapons, fixed the shadow options so they can be really disabled, button fix for correct timing (Strangle vs Melee; Normal Jump vs Boost Jump), and I don't know maybe some other simple things like disable the radar or hide your weapon etc...

The demo is over on 3/13.
