Socket M aka PPGA478? Celeron 560, T7200 chipsets

I want to pull the T7200 from a dead Dell XPS M1210 (nvidia chipset prob) and stick it in a Vostro a860.

Newegg says Socket M

A860 specs says chipset is "Intel GM965 Express/ICH8M." Should be ok, right? Or does that chipset ONLY run at 800 mhz?

Wikipedia states that the celeron is Socket P based and you want to upgrade to a socket M based cpu. Sorry, but it won't be able to work.
 
Agreed with 450, sell the T7200, which goes for a good deal on ebay since it's one of the better Socket M processors.

The thing is, socket 478, 479, M, and P are all referred to by Intel as PPGA478, but none are compatible with each other.
