I have narrowed my 2.1 setup search down to the Swan M10 and the Logitech Z-2300. I will be using these speakers as my computer and 360 speakers. Mainly I will use them for gaming but listening to music is also a must for me.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Price is not a factor in deciding between the two.

For games I would go with the z-2300's, since it has a 8" sub and will give you some decent bass in games (explosions, etc.). But Swans is better (more defined mids and highs) for music due to its separate midrange and tweeter. The M10 won't satisfy if you love bass, its more of a tabletop system.

Might want to look into the Klipsch Pro Medias too, they are quite popular for PC 2.1 speakers.

i would get the Swan if you can place the subwoofer welll

the logitechs once you realize how muddy they are really start to get on your nerves, its really annoying knowing your music sounds like trash once you listen to any proper speakers.

That is not even a choice, swans or nothing if that is your choices. I have the swans and would not trade them for any logitech speakers.
I've heard the swans are a bit harder to find now so if you can find them buy them.

The Z-2300's are "funner" due to their huge amounts of bass (getting naded is fun now :D), but the M10's have them beat everywhere else by a very good amount, and have higher quality bass.

Swans for sure, however, I agree with the above people who are saying get the Klipsch.

I'm surprised people seem to like the Promedia's more than the Swan M10s. Good to know, since for desktop speakers the Swans are a bit cumbersome.

But damn the Swans are HOT. The Klipsch are...well not ugly, but boring.

Swans are cumbersome. The sound is in another universe compared to the Klipsch. What do you want most? Good sound w/ footsteps and directional sound cleanly delivered or farty bass tones that clouds everything else with it's green cloud lol.

Sorry but Klipsch and logitech pc speakers just are not clear enough.
