anyone heard of this card? Never knew there was a platinum edition....if u have, how does it compare to the pro and the xt?

A mate is looking at getting it, but i've never heard of it b4.....
 
I wouldn't ever buy another PowerColor card. I bought a Powercolor 9700np, the memory was underclocked at 264 mhz, the stock memory speed on a 9700np should be 270mhz. The highest I could get it to run at was 268mhz, NOT EVEN AT BBA STOCK SPEEDS! Any higher and I got random lockups in games and benchmarks. I tried contacting their support 3 times and never got an answer. Maybe others have had better experiences with them.

Must be a one off...I've had a 9800xt and now my x800xt pe both off Poworcolor and had no probs so far *touch wood*
