I may be wrong, here, but it seems as though Nvidia is paying Ubisoft to remove 10.1 support because it benifits only ATI?

Nicely done review, as always folks. The only negative I notice is the inability to power two 8800GTXs with only three 6 pin pcie connects. Of course you can have three next gen products!

What is also of concern to me: What happens if a short is encountered? All that capacatance going off at once might just have more than a passing resemblance to the abovementioned firecrackers!

Should work for extra fans, or pelts, assuming the pelts are 12V, and not 15 or 19v ones. Check the total wattage, also. You can make it(atx) work by jumping the green wire and any black wire on the motherboard connector. _ReeL

And is it fully warranted? If you *need* it right away, today, sure.

I think the PC P&C is just more power than you need. If you needed 600-650 watts, it would have been recomended more strongly. Umm... I'm not one of those experts! _ReeL

Personally, without having any electronics knowlege to back it up, I like the idea of one rail. Depending on how the PS manufacturer decides to split connectors, It looks like one could run short on wattage/amperage on one of four rails while another rail is nearly unused. Apparantly these are single rail PS's? Looks like one 60A rail in the pdf. Can that be in spec with latest power supply specs that call for multiple rails? Imagine two of these paraleled together! Cheaper than one 850W or 1000W, and would really compensate for a tiny...LoL! _ReeL
