    ASRock 939Dual-SATA2

I just got my bios chip and thus my 939Dual is together finally. I have most settings at default for now. I did set the memory to 1T and I crashed while indexing pictures with picassa. Just Corsair ValueSelect memory, so I was not shocked. My next battle is with my Audigy1 card. Does not seem to...

    ASRock 939Dual-SATA2

So now you just take out the bios while your pc is running, Place it in the mail, then I can flash mine. Actually I ordered a bios from Biosman.com, so I'll see how that goes. KrankKnot, still 32-bit

    ASRock 939Dual-SATA2

Well I'm in the same boat as an earlier poster having the new 3200+ E4 Stepping and the 1.20 bios. It seems I'll have to wait until ASRock opens on January 3rd before I can get a bios chip from them. Anyone know someone else that sells bios recovery. I did install things correctly and the memory...

    ASRock 939Dual-SATA2

I am a wild man and got the CG stepping of the 3200+ (revE4) so it it possible I may not have the bios 1.3 or higher to initially run it. ASRock said for $15 they would send me a bios. I think the M1697 chipset supports SATAII natively, with no need for a southbridge. It would be nice if they...

    ASRock 939Dual-SATA2

According to this link ASRock CPU support list all BIOSes are supposed to support the E4/CG stepping of the 3200+. I'd want another cpu just to confirm it myself. What are the differences between the BP and CG revisions?

    ASRock 939Dual-SATA2

Good to know. I hope it runs for me as well as this NF7-S board. I hope they open up the bios a little if possible on the voltages and such. I think my wife bought me the ram, but I'd probably want to wait until xmas before I placed the rest of the order.

    ASRock 939Dual-SATA2

I was thinking of getting that processor from Mwave.com (since Newegg does not have it yet). You mean it won't even boot without a bios update? 1.20 is most likely what the board comes with. April 15, 2003 is when I got my current NF7-S board, so it is about time to move on up.

Warning PNY 6800's at CompUSA with missing capacitors

I was disappointed after getting my CUSA PNY 6800 card home and installed to find out the 2D text is quite blurry. Now I don't have the greatest 19" out there (Envision), but my 9600np had great 2D. Is it a poor DAC causing the blurry text? Bum card? I have the Sonata case with the 380w PSU (18...
