32 ain't enough for me at times. Some dense 3d scenes in Maya or heavy video or compositing works eats it up. 64 or even 128 is legitimately usable for these situations, especially with even more ambitious work (ie heavy foliage work in Maya)

Nah think he means weights for deformations of skin and things like that in animation. I'd say just check out digital tutor 3d max animation dvds. You'd have more luck finding an overall animation source that will include weight painting, rather than just a specific "3d max weight painting"...

You can distill almost any game down like this. But the real fun lies in Versus mode. Playing on teams and taking turns being the survivors and special zombies. Especially with friends, as well. And new content is coming too, just like they do with TF2.
