Basically I have a .txt file that is just an enormous list of random numbers. One number per line, from 1, all the way through 10,000.
I would like to add the word passporttechnologies to the beinning of each one of those numbers.
Is there an easy way to do this?
I need to change to a directory named "E & A" Everytime I do a command line of cd E & A, it says that A is not recognized as an internal or external command. Is there something special I need to know about changing to a directory with an & sign in it?
Ok, so I don't know much about dual display set ups. Here is basically what I would like to accomplish. I have a laptop at work, and also an lcd monitor mounted on the other side of the wall. That lcd monitor is hooked up to the laptop via vga. It allows my customers to see whatever is...
I have two cpu's here for sale.
The first one is an AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition:

This cpu is brand new, still sealed inside the box and never opened. I bought it from new egg, and then decided I wanted a different...
So I built a new rig with windows 7, I previously had xp. And what I had always done for YEARS was to create my playlists in winamp and save them as m3u's. Then all I had to do was open up itunes, go to import playlist and select it and boom all my songs would pop right up and I could add and...
Just got my new system up and running, yay me!
asus m4a89gtd pro mobo, amd six core 3.3 cpu, 8gb ram. I have it watecooled, not really into overclocking though.
Question is the speed setting for the sata ports, you can set it at 6gb, 3gb, or "auto" Does auto work well enough to give you...
If i found a mobo with that same nvraid setup, could i boot into dos and copy the my documents folder to a usb drive or something?
My buddy has a8n sli deluxe, which has the same nvidia raid on it
So here's my situation. I had a system I built with dual raptors in a RAID, on an a8n32 sli deluxe motherboard years ago. I used the nvidia raid configuration on the motherboard. The RAID itself is still healthy and all my data is still on it, but the motherboard took a crap on me.
I've...
Ok, so here is the situation. This is the 2nd acrylic case I've built a system in. The first one had the brass stand offs that you had to put a screw in threw the back and screw down so it rises the mobo up about a half inch and you mount it on the brass risers.
THIS case however, I bought...
shoot, I ordered some 5/8 clamps for it. was on performance pc's, and under the "customers who bought this also bought..." was the 5/8 clamps so I kind of assumed someone else knew better than me, lol.
Hey guys, I'm putting this xspc kit in my system, and the tubing it came with is 7/16" it says. Does that mean that the barbs are also 7/16" and that I need to buy some 7/16" clamps to have a proper fit?
There are so many more color options in basically every OTHER size other than 7/16...
Hey guys. I just purchased this mobo from newegg. Looking for good RAM recommendation for it, gonna go 8 gb with it I think. Is the ripjaw series that newegg advertises with it any good?
Here is the mobo:

I'm so confused with all these new cpu's out now days. I haven't built a new system in a LONG time.
I'm still running on an amd athlon64 X2 dual CPU 4800+
Basically I'm not going to be doing any overclocking, and not a whole lot of gaming either, the only thing intense I will be doing is HD...
So I'm trying to put together a new system, and I have this old case I had lying around that was going to eventually be a water cooled system before I lost interest about 5 years ago, lol.
Basically the case is all set up for a top mounted rad with pre cut holes for 3 120mm fans.
I'm not...
Man, I had an account there, and it got deleted due to inactivity.
But now I just bought one of those WD HD tv players, and a blu ray drive, and now I actually have a NEED for it.
If anyone still has some invites PM me please, i would MUCH appreciate it.
No. Dual core is basically like dual cpu.
Like a server mobo with 2 cpu sockets on it. It's just two processors in one. Meaning you have two 2.4ghz cpu's running in your system, but only using one socket.
So you can assign tasks to each core, or each cpu. One cpu can play a game, and...
I think i read that AMD's new procs are coming mid 2007 and will be compatible with socket AM2 mobo's, right? How exactly are these chips going to stand up against conroe's? I mean are they going to try and one up intel and make them even better, or are they not going to be anything alike?
