Looking for a dirt cheap video card... like the one you pulled from your mom's Dell or maybe stole from work that one time. No frills; just needs to work and be PCI-e.
Looking to spend like $15 shipped, or pick it up from you if you're in the Houston area.
Definitely. I use one in my home VMWare host on a crappy BIOSTAR AMD board; works in any PCI-E slot x4 or bigger. You will want to get one with the battery backup, or purchase one separately; without it, the controller won't let you run in cached-write mode and things will be SLOW.
Reviewing my post history is sad; I really haven't contributed at all since my account got re-created in 2004 after I came back from that other GenMay. I get it, Kyle; thanks for running a community that I used to love but have apparently forgotten.
I'm looking to move my aging i5-2500k machine into a smaller case that wants an mATX board. If you have an old Z77 or Z68 one laying around, PM me and we'll work something out.

How do you get the $25 plan and the $20 device price? When I click "View Details", it takes me to a selection of "Packages" that start at ~$50/month.
Definitely want to jump on this...
Edit: Apparently their system is a bit screwey, or they've oversold in Houston: using my own address, I get...
I've got a mix of five 2TB F3 and F4 drives in RAID5 on a PERC 6/i for my ESX box... no complaints thus far.
Even at $80, this is a great price... I would have bought three more at $65 though. :D
