ESX is fun like that... don't trust the documentation... nothing quite works as it should.... especially DRS and HA. Did a deployment myself earlier this year, still working it out.... the several thousands of dollars i spent on training was more like a class in philosophy.

I wish it was that simple. We've ruled out network issues. His is the only machine out of almost 200 that can't get to Google. Changed switches, cables, even restarted the DNS server. No dice.

UPDATE: Ok, so the Repair Permissions thing appears to have made every site that loads, load faster.. however... there are still a few sites that he uses regularly that won't load at all. Almost like DNS is effed in some way.. like it cached everything when he had no connectivity. He can't...

You should be able to paste just the one error in the events log pertaining to the P2V all the failings i've had with P2V were easily resolved.
